Couple of uk stores announcing 22nd September as the release date

I was wondering when this was going to take place. Would not be surprised if it was wrong though.

Wave X is supposed to "arrive to retailers in the fourth quarter of 2016", meaning most likely December, very close to the movie premiere, my guess is that we've seen all of wave IX and R1 stuff will be added to wave X.

With only three ships previewed for Wave X, and usually a minimum of four ships to a wave, it was evident that the R1 would be Wave X, not Wave IX.

In Spain, our distributor shows 23rd September. So perhaps it's true if there are no delays

personally, I don't understand why there's been so much negativity regarding wave 9

if I had to guess, it'd be because wave 8 just cranked up the power to an incredible level with torp scouts and the inquisitor (who is busted efficient)

which is sad, because all the wave 9 ships can be incredibly powerful if you actually fly them right rather than go gaga over base stats ( especially the caster, very stat inefficient but it's got oodles upon oodles of tricks that more than make up for it if you fly them properly)
