Question: When I spend a TL to reroll dice, that counts as rolling dice, right?

If yes, doesn't that mean that Vessery can attack something painted with a TL, he gets a free TL, he can spend the TL to roll attack dice again, and since he rolled attack dice he gets another TL?

This occurred to me in a game and I brought it up because it was funny, but I didn't insist on doing it because it seems like there is something that would prevent this.

You only ever "roll" attack or defence dice once per opportunity, should you have an ability that allows you to do so, you may "reroll" the specified number of them once.

That's not quite right. The opportunity is rolling the attack dice while attacking. If something allowed you to roll attack dice multiple times in a single attack Vessery would get a TL for each of those. I don't think there is anything that currently does that, but if there was Vessery's ability could trigger multiple times in a single attack.
