Probably a dumb question, but I have a hero demanding that the Rapid Fire card can be used for a Magic Weapon (since its fired from a distance). I say it cannot. He can hope to get Quick Casting. Do you folks agree?

You are correct. Rapid Fire is for ranged attacks, which are the ones you make with ranged weapons and your range trait. "Attacks made at range" is not the same.

Exactly. There are 3 types of attacks: Melee, Ranged and Magic. The weapons specifically state which type of attack they are applicable for. Rapid Fire is specifically for Ranged type attacks.
