This makes me incredibly sad. A comedic genius has been lost. Double featuring Young Frankenstein and Stir Crazy as soon as possible.

I am as deeply saddened with his passing as I was with Robin Williams. Gene Wilder was one of my alltime favorite actors.

I think my favorite role from him was Rabbi Avram Belinsky from "The Frisco Kid" alongside Harrison Ford. But I loved pretty much every role he played. His emotional range was tremendous as an actor. I am saddened, and feel lesser for never having been able to have met him.

Thank you, Mr. Wilder, for many years of pure entertainment. Rest In Peace, sir.
