hum an interesting take on an inquisitor in any other universe a character portrayed like that would most likely be just some run of the mill thug that would later turn out to be a traitor but here it looks like he might very well be the protagonist of the story which i think is a cool way to let the audience see the world of 40k
Inquisitors comes in all flavors - whats interesting is the direction herein - young - may I say brash - playful Inq...
All people have their strengths and flaws - I'm gonna guess these Inq's strength lay in investigation maybe>?
I'm one of those people who gets very unhappy by things that could use improvement.
The trailer is great, and great work has been done, but the animation quality, lip-syncing, and de-syncing of the marching troops and crowds needs to improve.
The audio, art design, and etc. is fantastic - it certainly isn't how I'd perceive the beautifully golden and venerable Holy Terra, but alas, that's just me. We all have different imaginations.
Personally I expect a lovely story inspired by Dead Space that will wrench my heart out... But only if they fix the small things.

Just One thing i Remember that space marine are not welcome Upon terra since the heresy? Or am i wrong?
I would expect a bit of stigma since the whole war but that was ten thousand years ago. While the Imperial Fists base operations out of their Phallanx mobile fortress they do maintain significant assets on their chapter homeworld, Earth. Space Wolves maintain a presence at the Navigators section near Australia as well.
The Black Templars battle barge would be more notably out of place but the model is so well made I can't blame him for wanting to use it.
That didn't impress me as the Imperial palace, or any of the other well known sections of Holy Terra. You can't be guilded awesome everywhere I guess.
Just One thing i Remember that space marine are not welcome Upon terra since the heresy? Or am i wrong?
Hardly the case. As far as I'm aware, Terra is the chapter homeworld for the Imperial Fists (which are the appropriately depicted chapter in the film).
And this is why I want a Dark Heresy TV show.
Heck I'd settle for a Dark Heresy motion comic - too bad I cant draw for jack LOL

In force? Technically no. But delegations are permitted (to petition the high lords, or for a triumphal march, as this appears to be), and such delegations are permitted an appropriate honour guards.
Technically the invasion force that finished the civil war following the beheading was a 'diplomatic delegation' of fifty astartes chapter masters plus an 'appropriate honour guard'....
Secondly, the triumphal march is clearly being lead/managed by Torquemada Coteaz, who - as an inquisitor lord and fully paid-up holder of a "do whatever the feth you want and get away with it" badge - couldn't probably care less what traditional imperial custom dictates.
Thirdly, as noted, the rules are significantly relaxed for the Imperial Fists, as technically Terra is their listed homeworld. They're not 'based there' in the same way they used to be around the time of the Beast's Waaaggh!, but still maintain a sanctioned presence.

You know it's a 40k movie because the single female on the planet is an assassin in a skintight leather suit.
Jokes aside, I'm impressed by the quality. Sure, there are a few flaws as pointed out by TheWorldSmith, but I'd argue it's still better than the official Ultramarines movie. And I say that as one of those "glass half full" people who maintain it's an entertaining movie to watch at least once.
What I don't like is the Inquisitor guy. Too young (following current Hollywood trends where they put starships under the command of some 20 y/o dude with anger management issues) and too cheeky, at best more like a desperado that should be in the employ of an Inquisitor. It's not that this type of Inquisitor is entirely impossible, mind you, but just that it's so far from the archetype that it looks out of place for a story focusing on one. The veteran Guardsman(?) or mercenary he hangs out with is far closer to what I'd expect as a viewer.

That gives you an idea about how strict the restrictions about Astartes military formations on Terra are, though.
And at least if we go by GW's Index Astartes, the Imperial Fists aren't based on Terra, they only originate there -- and possibly (personal conjecture; as far as I'm aware this is not actually mentioned in codex fluff) have a recruiting outpost here similar to their presence on Necromunda.
"The willingness of Dorn to put his initial misgivings aside and embrace the Codex Astartes reassured the High Lords of Terra. Because they were not tied to a home world and had a mobile Chapter Fortress, the Imperial Fists could be more responsive to calls for help."

However, you make a good point when mentioning the Inquisitor Lord. It would be very 40k indeed if Coteaz would just pull off his parade against the criticisms and misgivings of the High Lords and his peers, simply because it's not that uncommon for Inquisitors to not give a feth.

I dunno. He reminds me a bit of Inquisitor Covenant. And besides which, he's seemingly working under the aegis of a more senior Inquisitor (Cotez), so might be a recent elevation.

Correct. They have chapter keeps everywhere and are primarily based on the Phalanx. But Terra remains their 'Homeworld of record', even if they're not really based there.
