Hey all, just had a question.
Extended Tests that are also contested, there are 2 seperate entries for these but nothing that explains Extended + Opposed tests i.e. Possession
It sais under possession that the creature and target make opposed willpower tests each round, the one that gets 5 degrees of success wins. My question is how is this handled? lets say for instance character has will of 35 and creature has will of 40, if both roll 0 degrees of success but one person has a better roll (i.e. character rolls 32 (under his characteristic by 3) and creature rolls 38 (under characteristic by 2) does that mean that the character would win a degree of success since his roll was "better" than the opponent? or do only degrees of success count? It's a bit confusing unless I missed something in the rulebook.
Next question, take into account the previous instance, would a degree of failure or any failure mean auto fail? or do they just subtract from existing degrees of success?
