No trc on the mc80 - or you'll get a bad surprise

The first problem you're going to run into is that 95% of the time, Ackbar isn't going to do anything at all for that Liberty. You're going to want the front of the ship facing toward the enemy so unless you get flanked, you're not going to get many Ackbar shots off with it.

Also, those Turbolaser Reroute Circuits were meant to be put ont he CR90, right? The Defiance can't use them, since it doesn't have an Evade.

The cr90b doesn't have a turbo slot

There is a fundamental flaw with this list.....it is full of rebel scum. I believe you will be much happier with the pride of the empire, the ISD II. I also happen to know a good junk dealer in the outer rim that would be happy to take those lumpy star cruisers off your hands. I hear he makes excellent tables out of the metal...once the fryer oil has been removed.

Yep, I was thinking of the other CR90 variant. He either needs to give the CR90 sw-7 ion cannons, or swap it out for a CR90A.

Thanks. Made a list change.

Jaunty is right...running Ackbar with MC80 Liberty is...an odd choice, unless you're so experienced that you can feint your powerful front arc and have some grand strategy for fooling your opponents into putting themselves in your Liberty's arcs. And then having spinal armament on top of that? Very odd.

Also..not really a "Mon Cal" fleet when one of your ships isn't a MC chassis.

Why not take out the Liberty chassis and the CR90 and throw in a pair of MC30 scouts, that can actually make better use of Ackbar?

I am not sure you understand Ackbar. In order to add the two red dice there must be a legal shot first. The cr90 cannot add red dice until the attack is at blue range and it can make a shot with its original dice pool.

Am I correct in thinking you are just starting out? How much have you played? Lets start from what yoj know, and craft a list together from there.

Ackbar only works well with broadside heavy fleets.

2x MC80s (not MC80a or liberty)

or AFM2s / MC80 mixes

for the points you could do much better for a commander.
