New to Armada, but have played X-Wing for some time. Did what I usually do which is get two core sets and play the game with a couple of add ons. Wrote my first 400pts list, which is what my group is aiming for, I'd like your input.

with the vics I would suggest losing the named titles in preference of a missle upgrade and ordinance experts. you will be able to deal a lot more consistent damage. Look at Needa also, you can add an evade to one of the vics.
This is fine for a first go list. If you really want to use one of the command dial officers I recommend wing commander over Tac.
Mauler is phenomenal, but what really makes him shine is Chireneau or a source of Intel to allow him to break engagment and keep that autodamage flowing. As such, Howlie is the better choice for your list.
I don't know what you have available to you upgrade wise, I'm assuming you are still working with a limited collection as you start up. This should be a fun list to run with at first. I highly recommend spaming nav hard in the early going with the Vic's, as without the extra yaw they turn like bricks.

looks good. should be a lot of fun to fly. HTT's are an interesting bag. Watch the wording on them, your opponent can still brace as long as it is the only token they use.
