That's how I feel about hockey. It's a bloody game, yet people treat it like some **** religion, and over pay people way to much to play a game that we use to play as kidsI play this game with someone who is legally blind, and frankly I have a huge tolerance for bumping and nudging. It's a game, stop treating it as something else.
The best part about beer league arevthe guys who get into fights though. I get to watch as they sit out 2 games over nothing
Sometimes when I touch the base of the ship to set the templates it moves a little and I try to bring it back to were it was (millimeters).
Even if he didn't move the base it wouldn't have touched the debris but then you look at the ships end result and the line appears to be off an angle just barely. I don't know if it's worth analyzing all that much. You could try taking screenshots of the original placement and see if he veers off.
I'm with those saying that physical games with small pieces will get messed up. My sloppy hands prove that every match and that is why I stick with the casual bunch.
Edited by koolaidyetiI myself have shakey hands but I am always sure to say oops or my bad to tell them I have shakey hands so they know I'm not cheating, if I move something a lot I either let my opponent move it back or move it back and ask if that's fine with them. It's not about playing perfectly it's about letting your opponent know you have good intentions.
I've been sloopy before. I get excited and focused on moving my ship and end up sending Whisper flying across the board once or twice with my elbow. I've been getting better tho
Every time you bump a ship with your elbow baby Jesus kills a kitten
I think sloppy. There is absolutely no reason to be sneaky on his first turn; he can set up the ship so that it won't hit the obstacle.
I seem to remember that his opponent was also pretty sloppy with some of his moves. A lot of it is probably just nerves. They are in the semi-finals at Gen-Con.
My hands shake like crazy when I'm playing in even casual tournaments, I can't even imagine.
Same biggest tournament I ever won had 24 ppl at it and I'm pretty sure my heart was going to explode every turn of every game.

Is it only with my elbow? Kinda disappointing that means I'm under my quota.
At the final tables and or the cuts have a judge be like a pro snooker table referee... only the judge moves and touches the ships, the players never touch their ships.
Looks at above picture.....

Yeah but some of those videos are just cringe worthy. I don't remember which episode but there is one where a Red Squadron Pilot (T-65) X-wing did a K-turn but they forgot to give a stress token and did a target lock action after the K-turn. That is like starter mission wrong levels of rule breaking there.
