Hera (Crew) and Stay on Target Interaction

By Dr Zoidberg, in X-Wing Rules Questions

So, as per the title, how would they interact?

Would Hera allow me to utilise SoT every round? I.E. Changing my move and making it red as per SoT whilst already stressed is ok because Hera allows me to reveal and execute red moves while stressed.

Thoughts?

I play it yes because nothing seems to dictate otherwise. Like to use it on Keyan for funsies.

Yes, this definitely works. Still get a stress for each red move you do without clearing it, but if you're willing to stack up the stress, you can use SoT indefinitely.

It's worth noting that Stay on Target's pal Navigator specifically forbids rotating to a red maneuver if stressed, whereas with SoT it's just not a good idea (without Hera). So I would not think Hera crew would allow you to Navigator to a red maneuver while stressed.

Thanks guys.

Actually stay on target, Hera and Navigator work hand in hand the best combo.

Because stay on target, Hera and navigator work at the same time, you get to choose which order they resolve in.

See example below, imagine you already have 1 stress

You select a 1 forward,

You then Use navigator to change the speed, let's say speed 2

You then use stay on target to select the bearing, say hard right 2

Stay on target says it is now treated as red.

Hera allows you to reveal and execute red moves.

Combo this on the Yt1300 with Han pilot and you can do what ever move you'd like each round, including k turn and still get his rerolls.

What move without these upgrades would prevent his rerolls?

More just trying to help with some sort k action economy, considering you won't have any other actions
