Ive figured out it refers to large turrets like yt and deci but what does pwt actually stand for? P.w.turrets?
Pwt?

Turret
generally refers to yt-1300 and deci because they can crutch on their turrets to win their games, while 2-dice primaries generally suck too much to matter
Thank you

you forgot the boost and 1 autoevade per turn.
who needs a boostless PWT...
Haha I always thought it meant Pancake with Turret (PwT)
2014 and early 2015 called, they want their fotm ships back

outdated as of the lancer
the pancakest pancake without a turret

Well, we still prefer the "Pancake" than PWT, because in Russian that sounds simply better.
hell, most abbreviations from English sound weird that way >_>
Pwt is the sound you make when you really, really try to hold in a fart, but some leaks out, and then you have to look around to make sure no one heard it.
Pancake with tartar.
It's actually an abbreviation of Latin words that translate to "Best Ships and Mechanics in the Game".

Some like to call them OP instead.

Back on the day, sure
Pwts are real feast or famine that preyed on poor game design. Back when only Han and Cheri had all the good damage mitigation and NO ONE could punch through it, they were sickeningly overpowered esp with MOV exploitation
Thrusters let Cheri replace whisper with Fel to be better vs Han and other cheris
It wasn't until crackshot, tlt and the necessary half points MOV measure that they stopped utterly dominating the game
And then we added juke, 4lom and zuckuss (and, as I found out recently, Tail gunner
)
C3pos stock has really gone down

Agreed. I am not a fan of mechanics that require "guessing" or similar shenanigans. Too many times have I seen my opponent gasp when they realize they didn't guess for C-3PO (or even worse, guess after the dice has hit the table) and then stare at me with those eyes, pleading, "Fly casual...?"
