Setting up kit to cover any 400 point game. Needed tokens

By Church14, in Star Wars: Armada

This should be fairly easy. I just want to confirm against other people.

If you set up a kit to cover any fleet you could run, what is going to be needed? Any fleet rebel or Imperial that isn't comically stupid (no 18x transports)

Command Dials: 15 (5x VSD?)

Braces: 23 ( Tycho, Wedge, Dutch, Luke, Nym, Keyan, Jan, 5xNebulon)

Redirects: 10 (5x VSD)

Contains: 6? (3x Interdictor)

Scatter: 9? Mauler, Howlrunner, Fel, IG88, Dengar, Cienna Ree, 3x Gozanti

Evade: 14 (7x CR90)

Anyone see a way to get more of any specific token?

You should always have enough in whatever you have purchased. FFG makes sure you have everything you need, after all...

If you've lost any, however:

That's about the only regular-stock-replacement place I know.

It is more of "I may have 120 brace tokens, but I can only run 24 at a time. Why bring all 120?"

Oh thank the living stars! I thought that was a new 3rd party retailer I was going to have to review. . .

My go-bag case for typical games is a Plano-brand 787 tackle box which includes about 90% of my combined fleet. It comes with three utility trays that i fill with my primary components, you can see an example of the filled trays here.

My tray has been walled off on the left side so that the center is a grid for tokens, and the top and bottom are long open stretches for stacked command dials and speed dials. I also have a small cup gridded out for extra tokens on the bottom.

- 12-14 command dials (enough for 4 Command 3 ships)

- 8-10 speed dials, enough for me and my opponent

- full containers of each defense token as possible, splitting Contain and Scatter tokens evenly

- full containers for Command tokens

- Container for ship marker tokens

- Right top: Damage Deck, tournament list upgrades, small obstacles

- right Bottom: Objective cards, game reminder cards (IE Command card, Defense card), objective tokens, and laser pointer

- The Station and L-Debris sit on top of everything across multiple container sections with the lid closed

- Dice, rulers, maneuver tools, large ship models, and other oversized things are kept in the top part of the Plano tackle box

- Small ships, ship cards, hull zone cards, ship stands, and 2 of each squadron type when possible in individual utility cases for Rebels and Imperials.

- Large, medium, and small ship bases kept in the side pockets of the tackle box

And what do you do with the dials you get with every new ship you purchase? I never throw them away. You may never know when you want to build an 1200 points fleet ;)

If you play outside of your home, you've got a few options:

The big box that holds everything you have and you bring everywhere. Once your collection reaches a certain size, you'll need to get very creative in order to fit it all.

Leave it all on a shelf at home and pack one fleet at a time in a box to bring to the game.

The middle ground: Bring your ships and game components, but stow most of the redundant tokens and dials somewhere and only bring as many as you might actually need in a realistic game.

and only bring as many as you might actually need in a realistic game.

Which is the subject of the Original Post :D

"How many" is "might actually need" as a maximum,
