I just picked up the Radicals handbook and had an idea for a one shot, to run at a con some time; the players would be from various of the corrupt lineages vying for power among themselves.

so I need (plagiarised) names for the characters, starting with:

Generell, I would not use "1-to-1" copies of familiy names from well known Fiction (Dune) or other baroque Sci-Fi RPG´s (something with "Sun" in the name, right?).

While it is nice and easy, the chances are high that some or most of the players will recon them. In my experience, this hampered the ability of "building up 40K atmosphere" because they player automatically focus on "the outer source". In the worst case, in form of an immidiaet discussion about said source.
