I was keeping in theme.... A fleet of Bs and cracken seems almost........sensible.

You dont really need Cracken.... they will obstruct themselves

Hell after playing with flotillas a bit and really finding out how ultimately fragile they are to anything that can roll an accuracy or 2 you can basically count this list out. You have 13 small bases that have to be facing forward to shoot their useful arc, they will either run into/obstruct each other and/or have nowhere to go but into the withering fire of the enemy. As soon as something is in your flank or rear you are done and its like a fox in a henhouse. Also obstacles (land on an asteroid, 1/3 to 2/3s dead, land on debris, 1/3 dead). also about half the objectives.

It's a laugh of a list and if you can beg/borrow enough flotillas to try it I would love to see pictures! you can also try proxying it by getting a bunch of small bases and xeroxing one flots card for the arcs.

I would also rename the list "bite size points giveway" lol

You should have heard the giggling that was going on in Calgary when a Gozanti survived a Demolisher Triple Tap yesterday.

It won't happen often, but it was glorious.

Sure, it's possible. I think you're also seriously underestimating how hard it will be to get all those guns on a single target. (Spacing issues, dimension issues), how easy it will be to ram yourself (and you'll all take damage since they are flotillas), how easy it will be to block one another's shots (rendering your CF command, and, thus, the whole attack, useless).

There's also an issue of speed/activations. You'll open up with 4 of those suckers before a decent player blows past you with all his fast ships. Then, GG.

And that's before you start considering bombers just tearing the living crap out of you.

While I agree this is a hard counter, would you be taking Cracken in a game list right at this time?

At the moment, I am.

Its only vs. Konstantine where I my Triple Gupps have anything to worry about... And then, I just have to play super Cagey.

The odd Large or Medium Phylom Q7s are easily countered by keeping Nav Banked, and G8s only Temporarily mess with the speed of the Maneuver, so I'll always continue at Speed 3.

I understand what you're getting it... But it should always be stated when you take something that involves ridiculous amounts of spamming the most basic, the most worthless, and doing so outside of its intent... You must be prepared for the counter to exist.

And if that counter is me, alone, in the world, flyin' my Triple Gupps or Double Gupped Yavaris... Then dammit, I will be it. Because I've already been flying Cracken...

This list doesnt need a counter. Every list known to mankind couters it, simply by virtue of existing.

you will never get enough ships on anything to kill it.

all the ships in this list are one hit kills for most other ships.

all your opponent has to do is field one med/large ship and your chances drop to 0%.

and that even before you take bombers into account.

it would make for a good scenario...blockade run. I think this would be hilarious to see. I think an ISD with X number of gonzati's and repair crews would be funny also.

Well now that I have said that I will wait for Lyr to tell me how wrong I am. I think the point is it would be a stupid funny list that would bring two hours of enjoyment to both players and to me that is a winner. After all this is a game.

Now I am going to amazon to buy a crap ton of flotillas.....excuse me.
