And I dunno but after playing a few games against the interdictor I'm already thinking there's not much demo can do if it's your main hitter. No obvious counter or tactic you can use against the scrambler. Forget the hype about bomber commands and slicer tools, it's the interdictor that is sneaking in to pole position in my mind. People can whinge all they like about how it doesn't have enough attack dice, just shows they are missing the point.

So our nationals will be interesting, I'm already expecting that the most common dice will be red, Mc80s and ISD's everywhere. anyone expecting black to do the job will be kidding themselves.

I think there is pretty good chance of Ackbar seeing a spike in popularity, especially where a counter Imp/Indic list makes sense. I'm an Imp main but I keep having the stark thought that Ackbar could wreck the Indic lists I'm seeing and playing.

Funny game happened that I saw, an Indic held a ship on an Asteroid for 2 turns with G8. Ship is so fun.

Kind of disappointed in your absolute views on things. So many things where you declare something as an absolute such as with the Endeavor where you guys say that Contain only matters against bomber but you earlier talk about the ISD with Xi7's and Leading Shots and such. So many of those kinds of things. . .

Contain is certainly more helpful vs bombers (you will use it lots and it will effect which other tokens you spend/burn) and a good defense token all round but for Endeavor unless you are running two Libs your probably going to go with MK. Take the comments in the context of comparing three titles not as an overall judgment on contain. You won't find a person who dislikes contain amongst us.

You might be confusing the way people talk with what they actually think.

I am more than happy to say I think Proj Experts are a gimmick and a waste of points, even if I know that I used them once to great effect and their new potential with the interdictor.

People don't mention all the caveats to all the statemens they make, because that would make for terrible conversation. Hyperbole is interesting.

All that aside, they are just expressing their opinions. You are allowed to disagree, just as they are able to be wrong. They are cleary just mates talking about something they enjoy, and to me, just like with the IFF and FWR podcasts, thats why I listened. Listening to people's opinions and outlooks is even better when they might not agree.

I likely am. It's just hard for me to listen when they start saying things that sounds like an absolute. As if there is no reason why something should be done or used.

I find that is just a limitation on one's play in the end.
