The skys are dominated by the scouts. Whether it's triple contracted scout with torpedoes and whatever other things people can throw on them, or scouts with party bus, they are taking over the game.

Here is my question to all of you. Do you think something needs to be brought into x wing to counter the contracted scouts, and if so, what?

I don't think we need to do anything. I think it's already been done. The issue isn't really that Contracted Scouts are the problem. It was the PTL Arc Dodgers that were the problem. These guys have been responsible for the death of jousters. Well, that and the Tie Phantom. If you removed PTL Arc Dodgers from the game, then jousters can come back.

How would you remove PTL Arc Dodgers from the game? Well, there are a lot of things that came out in Wave 9 that really mess with PTL Arc Dodgers. It is Black Market Slicer Tools, but it's more than that. There are other things, such as Ventress in the Shadow Caster. In fact, if I were facing a lot of Imp Aces, I'd probably pull out Ventress and 3 Z-95's with BMST.

So, if Jousters came back, what would kill Contracted Scouts? Whatever can fire before them and then withstand the firepower of the remaining two. Kill one Scout fast and you can win. Here's what I would take:

Just wait fella, just wait. If you go back far enough you'll see TIE swarms were the problem, then Fat Hans, then Imp arc dodgers, phantoms, etc. the pendulum will swing elsewhere soon.
