That box looks absolutely perfect for what I've been wanting! Definitely saving that link and planning an order for the next time I want to pick up a few accessories.
Looks like you could even configure the box to hold pilot cards with the right divider positioning... maybe even some tokens and dice. Could be a great little tournament box.
Yesh I use a binder. I use the ultrapro 9 card pages for my ship cards and the new ultrapro 16 pocket platinum pages for the upgrade cards. They work really good and are pretty cheap.
This, basically. I wildly overpaid for my 16 pocket pages when i ordered them from the US, but not having them was bugging me, and I didn't want to buy something else.
They're available much cheaper in this country now.
I use a plastic storage box from Hobbycraft like this one (it comes with a lid, it is just not shown in the photo).
The small compartments hold upgrade cards, damage deck and tokens. The larger compartment holds pilot cards and the long thin one is perfect for maneuver templates and range rulers. I have one of almost every Rebel and Imperial expansion and everything fits in comfortably. I store the upgrade cards by type in small ziplock bags for extra protection and to make it easy to find the ones I want. So if I want Push the Limits, I just go straight to the EPT ziplock.
Simples!
3 ring binder for the ship cards and upgrades.
And I put my damage decks and epic upgrades in a wooden box made by the Broken Token
I use the old SWCCG premier deck boxes for pilot cards. And upgrades go into the little zip lock baggies that come with the expansions.
I don't play much and don't buy multiples of the expansions, so it works for me.
For Upgrade cards I use an Ultrapro mini-American nine-pocket binder. The pockets are good to hold up to three sleeved cards without danger of falling out.
For Pilot cards I use a hard-shell Ultrapro card collector thingy. I don't know the actual name, it was with the Magic card protectors. It has a bonus small compartment in the bottom that I use to hold my Epic upgrades/tokens.
I sleeve mine first with printed sleeves, then within toploaders such as these:
Then I put each faction in it's own box, sorted alphabetically - each faction with it's own colored border, and printed sleeve.
I'm just using UltraPro sideload binders. I have 4 pocket ones for the pilot cards of each faction, and a 9 pocket one for the upgrade cards. The 4 pocket ones were fine until now, but my Imperial fleet has now completely filled its one up, so I now either need a second one, or a new system. Ditto the upgrade cards, which only have about a page left in the whole binder.
I find them great for the pilot cards especially, since you can organise them by ship type and PS, so it's easy to find, but it's a bit clumsy for upgrade cards. It's certainly time for a better system there.
See, I used to do that and I quickly found that I ran out of space and that it became really irritating sorting through giant stacks of cards to find the one I needed.
I'm already starting to consider getting some kind of binder pages for my small ship base tokens as well, as they're starting to get unwieldy in a box.
Exactly what I do, except better.
I mean it's better than mine, and I totally agtee about the stacks, I frequently misplace ships and have to go through the whole thing to find them again.
Wow - it's like this one was custom-made for these card sizes.
Looks like a great container for taking just the ships and respective cards you need for a tournie or store game...
...not quite ideal for a large collection.
Do you have the brand name for it?..
...and is the barcode sticker still on it?
( both pieces of info would be useful to know )

That is the thinner Stanley organizer.
I use the 10 compartment one for game nights. It is more unwieldy, but it holds large ships.
It's even better for ships than it is for cards.
I went from cardboard card boxes to a three ring binder (that broke) to a couple of clear plastic card boxes for the pilot cards.
I have two of the mini american flexfolios for upgrade cards. But I'm getting tired of constantly shuffling cards in and out of it. I only sleeve them when taking them out to play, and I find that the edge of the binder pocket tends to catch the edge of the upgrade card and nick it unless I'm very careful. Which is hard to be when shuffling cards around to make room for a new wave's worth of cards.
I'd love to find some decent storage boxes in the size of the upgrade cards.
I'm in the small minority, but I hate the binders. Binders are probably easier to carry around if you want to take everything with you all the time.
...
I use these boxes:

I concur! I hate binders. I played MtG for a few years and every time I got new cards, it was such a nightmare to deal with the binders. You have to keep them in alphabetical order to really find anything and then you have to resort the whole dang thing once you get new cards. It's such a nightmare. I really hate it. I have a passionate dislike of card binders.
I had been using some of the cardboard boxes they gave away as prize support in the early years. I know I'm in the minority of people who have access to them, but they are great. I have 3 of them and used them for my 3 factions and my small upgrade cards. My small cards became too much for the box and I looked for a different solution for them.
The Broken Token mini card box is awesome. I really love it. I bought one, but it didn't fit all my cards in the sleeves with the wooden inserts. The guy that does all the awesome tuck boxes actually has one for card storage, as well. He has separators for that and I downloaded that PDF and just printed off the separators. I removed all wooden ones and put in the paper ones. They all fit! There is even room to expand. I like it as there are even ones for the cost of the EPT, so you can put them all in the 1 pt bracket, or 2 pts, or....ect. You can find them easier. Also for faction specific crew. The only mistake that I did was that I glued my paper separators onto stiff card stock and did it all the way to the top. When you try to put the lid on, the card stock won't bend. It's hard to get the lid on. So, I need to go back and remove the card stock backing so that the paper bends with the lid.
I was so excited by the Broken Token stuff that I emailed them and asked them for prize support for my podcast. I just got them in the mail and we will set up a contest to give them away. We got 3 of them. We'll do a review on the podcast to show thanks.
I didn't know there were other boxes that fit the pilot cards. Those would be awesome to separate by ship for easy sorting.
OK....but where do I put all these boxes? In the top of my Plano 1374, of course! I can fit them in where I store my minis and not have to carry a separate bag for my stupid binders.
in a ziplock bag. fancy.
In foam in a KR Metal case with all the rest of my Xwing stuff including ships (the only thing that does not go in is my HotAC stuff)
All cards are sleeved, arranged in sections and bagged, then put in a compartment.
A pain to get all out but then I use an App on my phone for most of the planning and building squads.
I just use a regular 3" black binder that I bought from a Staples, with Ultra-Pro 9 card pages for pilots and Ultra-Pro 16 card pages for upgrades. I use divider pages with tabs to keep everything separate, with each tab labeled as to what faction of pilots are in it or what type of upgrade it is. I have one of each page in the very front so I can put what I will use for an event in the front and have it readily available when I get to a store and need to start setting up. After that is pilots, divided up by faction. After that is one of each type of page for promos. Following that is upgrades, separated by things like "Bombs," "Elite Pilot Trait," and so on. In the inner front of the binder in the pocket is all the rule books, in the back pocket is all of the missions and the oversized Boba/Han promo card.
I want to replace the binder but only with a cool Star Wars-themed binder. Something that zips would be preferable but if it looks cool, that will be enough for me. I also want to replace the 16 card pages for some from BCD. The Ultra-Pro 16's are too loose for unsleeved cards, but a set of promos I bought from a guy arrived in a BCD page and those are snug. Then finally I want to get another binder and get coin pages to put the back halves of dials into (to pull out and use with the dial upgrades). Corresponding pilot tokens will go in there as well, which should free up space in my Plano.

Ditto. Except I've run out of room for more ships and now need to get a 3rd large case or move the cards somewhere else.
These aren't the best photos, but I thought I would share how my cards fit in the top of my plano using the broken token mini american card cases and the cards against humanity case (which appears to have been taken off the site after I posted the link to it).
Here is what it looks like on opening. I have all my rules and expansions on top of my upgrade cards.
Here is what it looks like without the rules. Note that 2 broken token boxes "fit", but one is bumped up a little.
And finally, here is with the lids off. I have all the upgrades sleeved and sorted by type and then alphabetically. The blue Max Protector has all 4 huge ship damage cards and huge ship specific upgrade cards sleeved. All my pilot cards are sorted by ship type and then by pilot skill. It only came with two dividers, which was find for me. I have Rebels in one section, Imperial in one, S&V in one, and then one section with TFA ship pilots and huge ship cards.
The second broken token mini american card case was needed due to the sleeves. I have just over 100 ships including the huge ships.
I sort them by type, rubber band them, put them in an assortment of plastic bags of appropriate sizes (as I also do with the assorted cardboard pieces) and store them in the Base Set boxes. I see no need for plastic card protectors or binders or such. Everything (minus ships) just goes right back into the starter set boxes for easy storage/transport. Cheap... Effective... convenient.
