yeah i dont understand international shipping. Some websites are hardly inflated at all, others are insane.
Forgeworld usually costs 20-40BP (british pounds) for me whenever i order from them, and thats on the higher end of what i normally see but even that isnt as insane as $70 shipping.
Only time i had an insane international shipping issue was when i was stationed in south korea i tried to order a new computer tower from newegg and for some reason they wanted 200 smackers to ship it to an apo address which is not an international address..... needless to say i waited 8 months till i came home lol
It's a killer. On top of that, I'd have to be 20-30% of the cost (including the shipping cost) in taxes when it arrives, so my $100 order would end up in excess of $200.
It's very frustrating whenever I see those MM and CSI sales. They're already very cheap compared to here, but then a sale hits and it's a steal. Shipping and taxes spins the whole thing on it's head though.
