Well i guess im getting the rebel huge ships outta that website. Thats basically a free transport lol...which is far better than a 10% discount i was about to use once wave9 hits my store.
Normally i prefer buying from the game store to support it but the huge ships are mostly a shelf item that once in a blue moon see the table. Not going to be hurt about ordering it online.

I agree about the giant box that ends up waiting for you on your porch when you get home from work, but the order is fun too! I like to track it and update the tracking page on my phone every few hours and I get really excited when the status changes.

Most of us ship things to work here. I kinda have to because fedex for some stupid reason refuses to use the "dropoff box" outside the apartment building so i have to drive to the most inconvenient place in town to get the bloody thing (i have 3 blocks to cross a 5lane one way road....thats usually very busy....its actually better for me to drive to the OTHER SIDE OF TOWN and come back to get into that turn. Suppose to be an 8min drive for me, always takes ~30)

What's particularly delightful about these boxes is that I bought this stuff during a CSI sale and they arrived but we were still busy unpacking from moving and I forgot all about them. Until last weekend. Mmmm.

I actually have 6, but - assuming I ever get time - I plan on painting two of these, one is earmarked as a gift, and we'll see where the other one ends up. I've yet to have a game where fielding 3 Gozanti's makes sense but who knows what is in store

I have it dropped off at work so my Wife just thinks its part of the collection I brought in to hide the fact that I secretly buy XWing stuff while im at work... The addiction is real...
It's a sweet gig for me to have everything shipped to work and not home. That way I don't have to worry about people who don't understand basic directions for the porch.
Ugh, the shipping internationally is crippling. $100 order costs $70 in shipping. Between that and import taxes, it works out more expensive than buying here, even with the discounts.

Forgeworld usually costs 20-40BP (british pounds) for me whenever i order from them, and thats on the higher end of what i normally see but even that isnt as insane as $70 shipping.
Only time i had an insane international shipping issue was when i was stationed in south korea i tried to order a new computer tower from newegg and for some reason they wanted 200 smackers to ship it to an apo address which is not an international address..... needless to say i waited 8 months till i came home lol
