Battle dice rolled simultaneously for purposes of assigning hits from upgraded plaguebearers?

By player590376, in Chaos in the Old World

Ok say Khorne, Nurgle, and Slaanesh each have 2 warriors in one region. Do they all roll battle dice at the same time, or does it go in power order?

And if Nurgle has upgraded plaguebearers, Khorne kills one, and the Nurgle player assigns the hit to a daemonette - does that daemonette still contribute battle dice that turn?

Oops, assume Khorne killed 2 plague bearers, so that the Nurgle player had enough hits to kill the daemonette.

If the Khorne warriors were upgraded, then the daemonette would not hit back as the plaguebearer would explode in that "first strike" phase. Otherwise they work normally.

That doesn't answer my question.

He means that if they are un-upgraded Khorne Warriors then yes the nurgle and daemonettes also get to attack. As you only tip them to show that they have been damaged and will be removed at the end of the battle.

However, if the Khorne warriors are upgraded, then they gain a special first attack, which is resolved before the actual fight, so in this case the nurgle warriors would be removed before they can attack, and in so doing would also remove the daemonettes before they can attack. Then the normal attack round would occur with the units still remaining (including the Khorne Warriors, as they haven't yet had their primary attack!)

Also all unit do not attack at once they always attack in Power order.

Hope this has helped and answered your question.

I agree with this, except for the implication that upgraded Bloodletters get to attack twice. They do not - they attack first, then the simultaneous combat happens in which they do not get to attack
