Can another hero flee from combat if Corbin has challenged him? If he chooses to do so, is Corbin considered to win?

Corbin's card specifies ".. fight until a hero is defeated."

My strong guess is you cannot flee from battle, not even Corbin. He is such a bully dwarf =)
