Hello, I am making my first Anima character. I'm trying out the wizard class and have a question about a particular spell:

Spectral Shield (level 10 on the necromany path)

Do I have to roll my defensive magic projection against my opponent's offensive magic projection for the shield to work?

Or will it automatically protect me so long as the MR for the offensive spell isn't too high?

it only stops spiritual(corebook page 114) effects from affecting you, not offensive spells. and you dont need to roll def proj as far as i know
