Backdraft Acc Corrector

By Ikka, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Quick question- if Backdraft has Accuracy Corrector and is shooting from his rear arc, is his ability's +1 Crit added before AC is used or after?

Example-

Backdraft fires from his rear arc. He rolls no Hits and wishes to use AC to cancel out those dice and gain 2 Hits. Will he get-

A) 2 Hits and 1 Crit. Crit from his ability, applied after AC.

B) 2 Hits. Crit from his ability is applied before AC, so AC discards it like a regular rolled dice result.

Read accuracy corrector in full. In particular the bit that says that your dice may not be modified again after using it.

Adding a result is a dice modification, and added results are treated the same as rolled results after they've been added.

BD cannot add the crit after using accuracy corrector. This doesn't necessarily mean he shouldn't use it, as setting a floor on the results he can get is still perhaps useful, but there's no combo.

The accuracy corrector's 2 hits can't be modified in any way after that.

That's what I thought, just wanted a quick clarification. Thanks!
