In the back ground section of the core rulebook it talks about how there can be different and varying types of shock truppen.

I would love to see figure packs come out for the basic generic troops as well as new heroes or villians

Anyone else have and thoughts on this????

I wouldn't mind seeing a few new troopers too (or at least individual packs for the existing troopers.) The game allows for 2 heroes and 3 troopers, but as of yet no team has more than 2 troopers!

Also, keep in mind that the current rulebook is from TOY (translated into English by FFG), which is a now defunct company. I'm sure FFG will work hard to make all our Tannhauser dreams come true, but the things written in that book may or may come to pass. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure FFG will produce their own figure packs as it seems like a genius strategy for marketing a board game (and they've done similar things with other games already), I'm just saying the promises made in the old rulebook were made by a company which no longer exists (sadly.)

As for new figures - there should be the following:

Union - Catlin Lamsbury (this girl has stealth or something like that, ability)

Reich - Reichsdoktor Hass Horbringer (this one I think, will use powerfull magick - and will be the main rival to Hermann von Haizinger)

Matriarchy - Oksana Gusarenko (she is, if I'm not mistaken, is one of the nuns, who failed to wear Zorka class armor)

Neutral - Minotaur Asterios - this personage is well known to all of you, I think, he is the dweller and the lord of Daedalus Maze)

Troop pack - set of additional troops (in different colors) - figures supposed to be the same (Shocktruppen, Stosstruppen, Commando Alfa, Delta, Voivodes), but may be FFG will change them - who knows?
