I have been out of X-Wing for a bit, and need a little advice for a local tournament. I will be flying 3 Tie Defenders. Which of the three list would be a best list, and how would you fly this list.

List 1:

36 = Ryad (34) + PTL (3) + TIE MK II (1) + Tie/x7 (-2)

35 = Glaive (34) + Juke (2) + TIE MK II (1) + Tie/x7 (-2)

29 = Delta (30) + TIE MK II (1) + Tie/x7 (-2)

List 2:

32 = Ryad (34) + Tie/x7 (-2)

33 = Maarek (35) + Tie/x7 (-2)

37 = Rexler (37) + Tie/x7 (-2)

List 3:

36 = Ryad (34) + PTL (3) + TIE MK II (1) + Tie/x7 (-2)

35 = Maarek (35 + VI (1) + TIE MK II (1) + Tie/x7 (-2)

29 = Delta (30) + TIE MK II (1) + Tie/x7 (-2)

Tactics:

1) Fly in a close swam

2) Fly in a lose swam

3) Fly with one flanker

4) Fly all independent of each other.

Your first list, although it could be even better:

Ryad w/ PTL, X-7 & TIE mk 2 = 36

Glaive w/ crack shot, X-7 & hull upgrade = 36

Delta w/ X-7 = 28

You don't need TIE mk 2 on all three defenders, and crack shot is better than Juke 9x out of 10. At least when we are talking about a mid- PS ship (which glaive certainly is).
