TIE/FO's on a Gozanti cruiser

Can you put TIE/FO's on a Gozanti Cruiser?

Counting as TIE Fighters.

No, for some reason only old school Ties are aloud to ride on the Gozanti. Unless you and your opponent just agree to let it slide.

Yes, you can. /SF's as well.

You definitely can because any thing that references TIE Fighters also includes TIE/FO Fighters and TIE/SF Fighters since they contain TIE Fighter in their name.

This rule is in the RRG.

RAW the TIEs that can ride a Gozanti are:

TIE fighter

TIE/fo fighter

TIE/sf fighter
TIE advanced (x1)

TIE interceptor
TIE bomber (despite it not fitting)

and the ships that can't are

TIE Adv. Prototype (due to the ruling that stops it equipping ATC)
TIE defender (doesn't fit anyway)
TIE phantom (doesn't fit anyway)
TIE punisher (doesn't fit anyway)

I'd personally houserule it to any TIE with a ball cockpit that fits in the clamp can ride and they can be mixed and matched.

as others have stated, tie fighers come in 3 variations and are all still tie fighters. Also means Youngster can share his EPT between the 3 of them....that is if anyone ever used him lol.

I always found it odd that they have to have all docked ships be the same type/variant. And that phantoms/defenders cant be docked. Tbh before i knew that those two couldnt be on there i was going to put defenders on it but they didnt fit so i opted out of that idea purely because i cant fly down the board with a bunch of defenders hanging upside down off this thing lol.
