Good rebel list vs 3 Gladiators

By Hamanu1, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I may be squaring against a guy that runs 3 Gladiators and seems to be having a lot of success with them. I don't know what else he may be flying (400 point) but they might all be equipped like Demolisher (sans the title for the other two).

Any suggestions what the best counter for this fleet might be?

(currently owned: Liberty, Home One, Cr90, Neb B, AKII, 2xMC30, Flotilla, 2 Reb Squads)

If he's running three Gladys he's going to have plenty of points for fighters, these are likely to be a ryhmer, firespray based list.

The Gladys will probably have engine techs and ACM or APT. He's going to use Movement to bring those Gladys in against a single ship at close range to kill it, fire ball will try to be a pain and distract.

Take the zombie man with: The MC30s ( scout) they are going to be good against the glads, neb B as yavaris, with 3 bwings as this can be a mare for glads as they melt to bombers. Flotilla to give you an extra activation, with xwings and Jan....spend all your points as he's not going to want you to go first as you will be able to last/ first yavaris and 3 bwings in a glad ( which would be a kill) and if he gets you to go second your going to win with zombie man, watch him sweat as he realises you can out fight him at long and close range, have more activations, tankier ships and have a fighter list that can take out a glad or kill his fireball.... All he's got on you is mobility as long as you don't give him a mobility fight ( via missions or scattered deployment you should be good). If you get second keep formation slow play let him come in at you and murder him as he moves in to close range ( have a mission pick that forces him to come at you). If you have first play drive strait at him to to aim for a last first with an MC30 or yavaris + bombers.

Focus fire, kill 1 glad at a time.

Yep what gink says....

Gladiators have difficulty generating accuracies so a flotilla with Bomber Command Centre can safely generate rerolls for a group of X or Y wings. Use the squadrons to straight arm his ships and create killing zones when they come to close range.

Unless he adapted and runs a Glad two with sensor teams for flot killing.

In which case he had no OE and less black dice.

Could use Vader to make up for lack of OE
