I put this list in vassal just to look at it. It's something to see, and I'm gonna play it just to throw some dice. I appreciate all the folks saying how to beat this list, because that's what the OP asked. But I just can't imagine anyone bringing a list to a tourney just to fight this list. I will say, I want to see someone play Mattshadowlord playing this list.

Seriously though, it's is clearly not unbeatable, but I do think there are a lot of posters in this thread who are underestimating it based on how they've seen frigates flown poorly in the past. You can usually spot the better ones because they've figured out the following rule of thumb:

Afb's best order to increase mobility? Nav.

Afb's best order to increase damage? Nav.

Afb's best order to reduce damage taken? Nav.

Not sure which of the above the Afb will need to do 3 turns in advance? Nav.

Seriously though, thanks for all the advice. I'm going to take that gencon list and have some fun. There's plenty of bombing power in there and I think that my positioning is in much need of improvement. I'll catch back up with you guys after I beat it!
