To our mutual surprise the score ended up being even, so Gowtah won as a second player.

That's crazy! Thanks for the write-up, pt, and congrats to both of you. ![]()

Wow. Don't see that very often. Player 2 FTW!
Matt-Shadowlord vs Matt-Antilles has paused at the end of turn 3, to resume tomorrow.
MA's MC30 fleet is naturally player 1, and the objective is Most Wanted. Casualties so far are all on MA's side (Quantum Storm and 2 Xwings), but my objective ship is down to 4 hull after some spectacular rolls from MA, and is almost guranteed to explode in turn 4.
MA's MC30 objective ship however is also getting beat up, and is down to its last 2 hull.
Fighting started nearer the centre, but we're now playing a game of Chicken ridiculously tight up on the edge of the map.
Actually I'll just post a screenshot to show you how tight I mean ![]()

Great fun so far.
I had changed Adar's BCC flotilla course to turn into the swirl to try to keep in range, but that didn't work by a hair's width. It also put him in Yavaris' path, causing a bump, and by the end of turn 3 I had both those ships in blue range of that mighty ISD2 front arc, and I hated myself for not navigating better, and thought right there I had lost the game...
I was watching off and on, and was convinced you had set up beautifully to take apart the ISDs with Yavaris and Squads, but then the bump!
I thought for sure you had lost the game (I didn't watch the end).
Amazing result - well done!
Bad luck PT! So close!
May the dice be with you!
Oi. Get your arse in here. What time do you want to play on my Sunday? Please be gentle to my loss of sleep but I am expecting to lose some for this.
Game Over!
As predicted, turn 4 started with Matt Antilles using his Lando MC30 to destroy my Most Wanted AFB, The Predator. That scored him a cool 151 points, and Lando predictably shot off at speed 4 to get out of range of the frigate's guns. I took a big risk leaving my Flagship in double arc and black range of Admonition, deciding to move my other Frigate first to ensure I got some side arc shots off. I put a lot of trust in my own Lando crew card, and he did his job perfectly when the Admon opened up and reduced all the dice to blanks and accuracy. Niiiiiice.
Admon did then get HH HC HC from its front arc, but the damage reduction on the first shot was a real bonus.
Admon got caught in Akbar's side arc after moving (part of why the flagship waited), and took some decent damage. The Rogues swarmed after Lando MC30 at full speed, but he managed to survive.
Turn 5 was where it all happened - Admonition shredded my Frigate, bringing it down to 2 hull 2 shields, but in return it put some damage onto Admon and managed to get the Accuracy required to kill Bright Hope. Yes, BH CAN be killed, spread the word!
Engineering meant the frigate ended the turn on 1 hull despite Jaina's light shooting and then ramming it, and Akbar's frigate killed Jaina and then knocked a shield of Admon. In the squadron phase, half a dozen rogues had their wicked way with Admon, and it was finally destroyed.
Turn 6 was short - the only survivor was Mom Mothma, who sped off at speed 3 pursued by squadrons. Scatter Scatter Evade Evade meant she managed to survive - but only just.
The end result was 348 + 69 (objective) to me and 79 + 72 (objective) to Matt Antilles, for a completely unrepresentative 411 v 151 9-1 win from a game that was ridiculously close and which Matt Antilles was always a finger tip away from grasping.
Well played ![]()
Skycake concedes at the end of turn 2 with his ISD at hull 5 remaining sitting in a cloud of B wings.
I had initative and picked Intel sweep. Quantum Storm made a sprint across the table to take the first token from under the ISD's nose. However, turn 2 G8's meant she couldnt escape and ended up in the Aevenger's front arc with scatter suppressed. Job done, intel sweep token stolen.
Then skycakes ships rolled forward, into the cloud. With only Dengar not having heavy, Jan Orrs and her sidekick hwk290 made light work of covering him. The rest is as expected. 6 Bwings included two Yav double taps made light work of the ISD. I have first activation and with MC80 ready to activate another 4 Bwings to take out the ISD, thus winning the objective 75pts and trapping the Interdictor in place for its fate of Bwing death.
Wasnt particularly skycakes fault. Only having one non-heavy unit is not enough against 6 Bwings.
Ginkapo wins.
Matt Shadowlord - how many YT2400s are in your list?
(You've never actually written it down in a fleet list....)

Doesn't look like he's posted another list since, so presumably he's just flown the same thing the whole time.

I know.
But do you call that a fleet list? It contains the term "Rogue Madness" to detail what I discover is 7 YT2400s.
My list is MC80 with B's. I mean thats descriptive enough right? You could go away and build my list perfectly from just that right?
I imagine if Matt's list had the points values included, it would look fine. As it is, the "bare bones" description is enough to determine what his fleet is.
Congratulations to the winners of the first elimination round! Semi-final match-ups to come shortly. ![]()

No, but I could go and build Matt's list perfectly from what's listed there. It's not formatted pretty or overly informative, but it does have all the information you need to know what's in the list.
I have the official record MattShadowlord uses for his list ripped from the dirty paws of Bothan spies:
"Begin transmission...
1. Core Set - $99.95
2. Assault Frigate Mark III Expansion Pack - $39.95
3. Assault Frigate Mark III Expansion Pack - $39.95
4. Assault Frigate Mark III Expansion Pack - $39.95
5. Home One Expansion Pack - $39.95
6. MC30c Frigate Expansion Pack - $29.95
7. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
8. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
9. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
10. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
11. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
12. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
13. Rogues and Villains Expansion Pack - $19.95
Never having to build another list ever again...priceless..."
****, that was not the list.

I've been running the same list for all games.
The part where the list says 'YT2400 x7' was indended to indicate seven yt2400s ![]()
So you guys are suggesting its me who failed to copy and paste correctly.
Its possible.
