Light on squadrons and hoping that gunnery teamed Battle Cruisers can help with that as well as the Command Cruiser. The idea is to punch a hole and start turning over two painful cards on people.

Fire Control Teams on the Liberties would be great for this list. Doing 3 face up cards selecting from 12 will be evil. Ditch a leading shots to pay for them?

I would have to ditch gunnery teams to take them. That seriously hampers my AA and ability to deal with multiple threats...although I may playtest that some time and take an extra Awing.

Oh yes that's not really worth the swap.

Maybe consider dropping the BCs to Star Cruisers. I know you plan on trying to flak the opposing air units but the black dice basically makes most Imperial flying circus list immune because of Rhymer. 1 black dice isn't bad AA anyway. With the points you save, you can upgrade the Command Cruiser to Home One and ECM, which would mean you'd lose a little long range power but the accuracies should make your firepower better overall and the MC80 Command gets way more survivable.

I originally had Home One, but put the gunnery teams out there instead. The accuracies would be good, but I will (more than likely) get a blue one for that. Ultimately, I just don't find Home One & ECM to do it for me. However, I will keep it in mind if I find that I am having trouble with survivability and accuracy.
