Droid under utilized?

Lots of ideas being tossed around for Norra Wexley and some other pilots who do some interesting things with Target Locks.

I rarely see anyone going for R5-K6. Yes he is a bit of a luck of the dice but when it is working for you it's bonkers.

Norra could spend her Lock for offense or Defense. Trigger K6 keep the lock and now has it for the next attck or defense potentially. Using it with Dutch and passing out Target Locks all day? Yes, it works there too. He also pairs really well with Hobbie. I know Regen is really all most are using the droids for other than the occasional R4D6 but some of the other droids really do have some interesting uses.

Anybody ne else have builds not using the common R2-D2, R5-P9 or R4-D6?

R3-A2 on Hobbie Klivian

Targeting Astromech on Wedge Antilles (To maximize his damage potential when he flips)

R7 Astromech on Tarn Mison

R3 Astromech on any T-70 with an EPT slot + Juke & Comm Relay

Targeting Astromech on Hobbie is quite good. On a K-turn, you get a target lock, clear the stress, and focus. Take that defenders!

I've also enjoyed R7-T1 + Autoblaster Turret on a Y-Wing with torpedoes.

the three big droids are r2-d2, r4-d6 (biggs only basically, until someone cracks the code with TLT horton), and r3-a2

as cute as the other astros may be, nothing comes close to the game winning potential those three can provide (especially in the same list)

I think R7-T1 is going to make a come-back. Especially with the emergence of ordinance and the release of the ARC-170.

I'm thinking R7-T1 on Nora, lets her boost and Target Lock if someone is pointed at her (which they better be or they're getting blasted). Only wish that this didn't eliminate using BB-8 and thus, eliminate Super Nora w/ PtL. And no System slot on the ARC is no mas.

Norra basically needs r2d2 to win trades against basically anyone unless Biggs is still up

ARCs are fragile :(
