Three Red Sq. Vets, sporting all the latest smoke and mirror upgrades that have still not fixed the T-65/T-70s. And, if I may, a strong application of the much chided R3 Astromech.

There's even 3 points left over to get creative or add Plasmas. Probably to ole' PtL-Wing.

Strategy:
I think this list flies it's best games when it sticks the approach, staying in a tight formation and focusing fire.

Stress-Wing pairs nicely with Wired and adds control to the list. The PtL version uses R2-D2 every turn after pushing to focus/target lock/boost to get those range 1, 4-dice primaries. And when that's 'no bueno', maybe he has Plasmas. Then the niche piece, and my favorite, is the R3d Vet.

This build came from My Strange Addiction to "Red Ace" with Comm Relay and R2-D2. Since my first run of him, however, I realized something was amiss and immediately knew it was the lack of an EPT slot. I figured the devs had a good reason to block that trove of combinations so I never really bothered to theory-craft him with the slot - until I saw R3.

For a mere third of your list, you get to forgoe potential focused damage to assign yourself an evade, then immediately Juke your lowered damage through. Shenanigans: hardly supported by math, but cute. What's not as much cute as it is efficient is that he gets to keep the evade.

tl;dr Does this list need an ARC-170 or what?

yeah it needs an ARC-170

that super-crap-x7 T-70 with r3 juke is running you more points than r3-a2 gunner Braylen

then you can get rid of the superbly underwhelming wired + r3-a2 t-70 (tired it; so freaking weak ) for something useful, like crackshot + TA (TA being a point overpriced, but at least it's still mods)

I am trying this list soon. It's going to work.
