Well its that time again so Happy Friday.

The more I am thinking about wave 10 the more I am excited for it. I really think the QuadJumper is going to change the meta in an excellent way. If reverse allows for moving backwards, guessing movement for this ship, is going to be tough for everyone and a major block for aces/uboats. I am super excited, in fact the more I think about it this new wave, to me is like when wave 4 was coming out and dreamed of the Phantom, what it could/would do. This Quadjumper is going to wreck people and I am excited, I also know its not a killer like Aces or Uboats were but its a solid answer for blocking and being outside of range for shots.

I look forward to buying Quadjumpers and kitbashing the hell out of everything else with those engines.

Wave 9 was an automatic 2 of everything but the Lancer, which I only ordered one, and the Fang Fighter which I ordered 3 of.

Seeing I am not doing tonrys much these days 1 of each is a sweet spot for me. I don't mind getting extra ties and t70/t65 because at some point epic and HOTAC will happen and throwing down 12 FO, 12 TF is a woot. I want to end up also with 12 SF ties. I think I can pull off 36 imp ties in a game.

As cute this little flea* is, being a civiliation craft retro-fitted and militarised (as many scum ships are) I feel it needs to be unique in my collection.

So, despite it ranking very highly from an aesthetic perspective (IMO), I can't see myself getting more than one...

...it'll come down to diversity of art-on-card as to whether I get a duplicte (or more) to modify/paint.

Look I love the bat shuttle and it can push 8 damage in a turn, trust me I am super excited. I think that the Quad is growing on me though. I really want to play scum when this comes out.

Not saying this is wise but run the following Kylo Ren, with Opportunist(or Ruthless, or Expose) Darth Vader, and Anti-Pursuit Lasers.

At Range 1 that's 6 Dice from the Attack, with 1 from Vader, and if you hit something 1 from Anti Lasers. Just for the fun of it you throw agent Kallus on it (45 points). There is an excellent chance to make any Ace disappear in a single round and still be alive. (Soontir is able to stop 4 damage with dice and a token, your still able to push 3 through)

Well....actually.....it's a bit of a downer for me. I was trying to do the HotAC interview last night with the creator, but he didn't show. Not sure why. Ugh. So, we didn't really have a topic prepared and it might be a bit of a rambling episode.

Also, I dropped my phone today and the screen died. It's still buzzing with notifications, but the screen is dead. I'm not able to afford a new phone at this point. Ugh. I need to suck it up and get it repaired. That's going to cost and my wife will be upset.

Other than that, though, I'm alright. We had another couple of new guys at the game store. Actually, one was from a different area and made it to our store. Another hadn't played since Wave 3 and didn't know there was a local scene. The other new guys from the past couple of weeks made it, too. So, we had a decent group last night for the summer. It was fun.

Happy Friday All, quad jumper tractor shenanigans with shadowcaster I don't care if I don't do damage, let the barrel rolls begin!!! Although wave ten Quad and Batshuttle are quite exciting, being unable to grab early wave 9 releases, I am still excited about that SF!!

I have my second Gamestorm tournament to go to and this time I am much more comfortable with my 100-pt squad (as opposed to my escalation 150-pointer). It's a MindLink Aggressor/Palob/Kavil force, which will be fun if not competitive.

I have to agree, the Quad is what I look forward to most with Wave 10, me being "scummier" than the other factions. I like the Rebel TIE, next, but I have a stronger force of Imperial ships so far (and I will pick up a TIE /sf from Wave 9) so the shuttle looks very appealing and gives me my first large Imperial ship. I am far from being able to fund what will be a significant investment in Wave 9: an ARC, at least 2 Fangs, the TIE and Shadow Caster as my credit at Games Plus is gone and there won't be another auction for refilling that account till October. I pretty much have to fund my Fun with previous sources of Fun. Monsterpocalypse stuff will be on the block next--probably not going to be as profitable as my last auction.

Speaking of wave 10, is it reasonable to assume that it really will release in the fourth quarter of 2016? I'm making a huge preorder of IA stuff and I wanted to mix in some wave 10 - but I don't want my IA stuff to be delayed 'til January or February because of wave 10.

I have not been able to pull a badass order off except for getting the sale priced Wave 8 a couple months back. It sure is fun to buy these toys but I am almost done paying off my new computer so Halloween thru X-Mas is going to be great!!!
