Lot of great stuff here, thanks to everyone who's shared. I'm about 2/3rds of the way through every single page...got a lot of good saves; some for inspiration, some for awesome and some just entertaining!

I try and do art when I can but I'm way out of practice so must of my stuff is kinda meh...but I do noodle with some 3-D Design work and wanted to share some stuff I've been doing...

Possible Eventual Lightsaber for my Gand PC:

Loosely Based on the design for An'aya Kuro's Lightsaber:

....and for fun, MY version of the iSaber...aka the Hipster sword...yes it's not as slick as a previoulsy posted verison but my 3-D skills are not so elite

Great work. That first saber looks a lot like Tenel Ka's Rancor Tooth light saber.

Thanks, I was not aware of Tenel Ka until now (Or had forgotten her) so I may try a variant of that later on.

It's one of my favorites to-date but I still want to tweak it. Sadly the Progam I use (Doga 3-D) while easy to use is hardly flexible so I can't do anything as slick-looking as I'd like. Nor do I have the time/patience/brain-power to learn a better one though I keep telling myself I need to. The Gand that is supposed to eventually use that Lightsaber is essentially a Beast Master (Or maybe Ace Ventura if I want to go in a humorous direction) so thus the horns and the hanging bits of feather and wing. Eventually I want to create some kind of clawed foot for either or both ends of it.

For all of my 3D modeling, I use Hexagon 2.5 (which, while no longer free, is still pretty cheap), and render in DAZ Studio 4.8 (which is free).

Price isn't really a barrier its mostly my energy level and motivation...8P
