So... Grav Shift and DT? There a consensus yet?

So... yeah, has there been a consensus on this yet? Do Dangerous Territory tokens move with the obstacle or do they not?

Or are we in "waiting for FAQ" territory now?

Not looking to reignite the debate, just wondering if there's been a breakthrough yet :D

There is consensus that the tokens should follow the obstacles, but its not explicitly stated.

Felt that was the jist I was picking up so far

The other reason to put forwards is :

Dangerous territory has a penalty removal for player two.

If player one can use Grav Shift to move the obstacles and leave the tokens floating in space, he negates the penalty he/she is supposed to incur for collecting a token.

Which I cannot see in any shape or form being the intent behind it, especially as the article states this is not the case(tokens remaining behind.)

Well, more accurately, the tokens would simply become impossible to obtain, since the terms of the objective specify the ship must overlap the obstacle the token is on.

Which is entirely academic since the obvious intent is that the token moves with the obstacle.

An even better reason to accept that the tokens move with the scenery.

Fully agreed. There is only one reasonable interpretation - but interpretation is nevertheless required.
