That would be an interesting list to try, although the extra point of cost relative to the b-wing shuts out quite a few options. (a 4bz list without the z is really getting the short end of the stick and sadly you just can't fit the z-95 into the list.)
I do like the use of vectored thrusters to get back the barrel roll action... I might still have gone with fcs myself.
And of course there's no reason why you shouldn't put the title on one of them instead of the modification... Frees up a point for a little bid, or maybe a crew. Also nets you a tractor beam which could come in handy.
Looks like a nice list, but may be poorly positioned right now since it probably loses hard to the same things that kill generic b-wings.
If I had the spare £45 I'd need for the remaining 3 Mist hunters, I'd play it.
the g1-a isn't quite a B-wing
the stat-lines are very similar, but the g1-a dial is far and away superior (freaking 2k is so bunk against large bases, agh!) but it loses the incredibly useful b-roll
minor nitpick aside, VTs are not the way to go (esp because at the very least one of them could have Misthunter for the same effect but a point cheaper). Unless you're exploiting the crap out of that b-roll (you're not with min PS and only 1 arc; no turret etc.) VTs are horrendously overpriced for the benefit they provide. And when you're flying straight jousters like the g-1a, 2 points spent on anything not improving your dice output is a waste and will hamper you more than aid you
you'd have a much more effective list if you replaced all those VTs with FCS; possibly giving the 4th man Misthunter + Zuckuss (Crew) instead
Interestingly, in the newcanon tie-in fiction, there were pirates with B-wings (Heir to the Jedi).
Might that justify a sequel to Most Wanted, with Scum B-wings? ![]()
Interesting, but they usually use blue squadrons and can afford fire control systems. Still could be fun.
Curious, why do people insist on putting Predator and Fire-Control System on the same ship?
I suppose it's to choose to re-roll one (predator - unless low PS) or more than one (TL)? I do think that makes the ship way too costly for that.
I think I've lost a G1A before shooting twice in almost every game I've played with them. They are a sweet looking ship, but they suck on the mat. You're going to get hit at range 3, then, except for Zuckuss with VI, you're going to get hit prior to shooting. A lot of times, that's about all you need to lose a ship is 3-4 attacks. the PS 5-3 die usually before they get a decent attack or they get flown past trying to set up a range one shot.

silliness really. Advanced sensors is the only logical choice, Sensor jammer is too expensive and situational to do much good with a 1 agility ship. Really the TAP title is something that the G1A needs to stay alive, grab a TL - get an evade token. then I could see flying these. Too bad, too, because it's one of my favorite - looking ships and I even like the pilot abilities and handling of the ship, but way too expensive for anything other than ultra casual play.

Both hit like trucks. And if you run sensors on Zuckuss he becomes rather nimble. The biggest trick is to run something deadlier with them (maybe a mini swarm of Fangs?) In order to draw a bunch of fire.
OP, why don't you give one of your shops the mist hunter title? It's a point cheaper than VT for the same effect plus a tractor beam. The point saved would buy you a bounty hunter crewman to join the fun.
Interesting idea, but I would try to add the awesome scum crew inside them. The main advantage of the G1A is the in-build crew option. And there are so many good 1-2pt scum crews out there

What do you run with them? All G1A ships die at the same time, having them cost what they do, they need to justify their costs. What or how do you balance a list like this?
I'm very fond of Zuckuss right now. I've played him alot and finally found my load out with him.

You want to play him slow. The rest of your list must draw the attention at the first pass or else Zuckuss will melt to focused fire.
I always try to come at the opponent's ace using 4-low crew to skip throught tokens when ever I pull a good shot. Electronic baffle is the key here. If you ever feel that 4lom's ion token will put you in a bad place just trade it for a damage.
Or, if the opponent ship manages to get behind you, you can pop inertial dampeners to make him bump or even fly past you. Once again you can use electronic baffle to gwt rid of the stress and still perform an action on the same turn.. And with all the red maneuver on that dial, electronic baffle really help the action economy.
It's a fragile ship tho. And once you start giving you self damage each turn, zuckess will not survive long. You really need to play him slow, the rest of your list must be a bigger threat.

I'm looking for other than g1a ships, but exept the dial with some reds they fit this list perfectly (fcs really helps much, other ships usually haven't got slot for it or k4 crew).

Yeah, I got that., I've tried several lists, but my Gand build is 30pts, Zuckuss is 35+ which makes it hard to fit more ships in the list. I've found that most people single out my G1a and blow it out of the sky before I get to do anything with it. My Hwks tend to last 3 times longer and do way more damage for 30 or less points. Torkhil sounds like a great control option. I've had difficulty getting Zs to threaten anything in the past though. I'll definitely try these out though. Than

I love the attanni mindlink card. I've had great success with Palob, Guri and a variety of M3A builds. I feel like the firespray has always been overpriced. I just wish the G1A had a reliable method to get that evade. For its price and options, it should be a little more resilient. The glory of the B-wing for all those years was its great shield to hull ratio, and the fact that you never put any upgrades on it. It was always run naked and bare, as cheap as possible, I don't think that would work on the G1A, esp not now and I think that should have been factored into its design/cost/etc. If it had a generic title like the Fang, TAP, Arc or something that allowed it to get the evade token reliably, Ithink it would be great improved.
