I've heard that the 2-bank is an even better maneuver than the 2-straight.

All ships have green 2-straight maneuvers.

All ships have the 5 basic 2-speed maneuvers (straight, banks, and hards).

It is indeed green for every ship in the game. I kinda view it as idle speed. The speed that any ship in the game goes if you just let go of the stick.

Which is unfortunate because the 2-straight is overpowered and needs a nerf immediately

Hey, it's almost like FFG planned their game out and made sure every ship had at least some basic maneuvers. But that's crazy! Next thing you will tell me that FFG designed the manuever templates to match the printed arc on the pilot tokens!

I always do a 2 forward for the first move of every game. because since every ship can do it, I always do it. also puts me into a good posisiton to eiter 3 forward or 5 foreward with my ties, depending on what is coming.

Hmm, i'll have to verify when i get off work. Squadron builder app doesnt list it as a green 2straight. Heh that'd be the first defect ive seen on that app that wasnt huge ship related
