Emerging from the warp in the latest incarnation of Cosmic Encounter is the Parasite!

You have the power to Infest. Alliances play a huge role in how the game shapes up. Every member of the winning side (provided they are the attackers) gets to place a colony on the loser's planet. The Parasite lets you join a side whether they want you to or not. This can force opponents to choose a different target for their attack, ie. one with one of the Parasite's colonies already on it. While this leeching off of the attack my make you a target, it also allows you to rally the defenders and help out on defense. Use this to your advantage.
