Scum Token Thieves

Hi first posting on the forum. Love this game but I have found it hard to choose a faction to stick too Imperial or Rebel but I never considered Scum until recently and now I love them. This is a list I've just started using comments/thoughts appreciated

Tactics -

Green maneuver Manaroo, acquire free target lock take focus and postion self to block triggereing anti pursuit lasers keeping Inertial Dampeners back for same reason (pass of locks and tokens were needed)

Guri just loves to get close for free focus plus Sensor Jammer makes him harder to hit.

Keep Palob further back for TLT plus Dengar rerolls for consistent damage. Polab ability works better at range 1-2 unlike the TLT which prefers 2-3 but by keeping Palob further back to use TLT instead of using his pilot ability it makes you opponent choose should I stay back and try evade fire or get in closer and have my tokens stolen. By keeping back a lot of the time you can get them in the range 2 sweet spot (Focus steal +TLT+Dengar)

You can put adaptabilty on Manaroo if you want to decrease pilot skill to 3. You Can also Raise Guri up to a 6 but I prefare to keep both her and Palob at 5 for better flexability.

Putting adaptability on Manaroo would allow you to bring her PS to 5 to match the others, which would make for more possibilities in terms of manoeuvers.

The other possibility is to shave off 3 points and play around with mindlink. That way you will more often than not have a focus even if you bump and most likely have the possibility of having multiple focuses (to help with offense and defense).

This! Drop the Title and Sensor Jammer on Guri, add Autothrusters to Guri and Mindlink to everyone. Voila!

I'd go one step further and drop inertial dampeners and replace it with Black market Slicer tools. Manaroo doesn't really need dampeners because if she wants to 'not move' she can often accomplish it simply with a hard turn + barrel roll.

Thanks for feedback I really wanted to put mindlink on all 3 but I didn't have enough cards so I gave Dengar a try out instead and he turned out to be BRILL, but once I get another copy of mindlink I give it a try. Guri with sensor jammer is so hard to hit really annoying for your opponents and it saved me in 2 games on the run. I never considered raising Manaroo to a pilot skill 5 that way all my squad at same level... interesting but its also made me consider lowering her to a pilot skill 3. Many thanks for feedback

Once I get Black Market Slicer Tools I will replace Inertiel Dampeners and give it a run out. I can see that card being totally amazing on the right list
