Ps 10 Corran vs PS 8 Corran Double Tap

By Kdubb, in X-Wing Rules Questions

If you have a corran vs corran match up, and the VI, PS 10 corran double taps and kills the PS 8 Corran, does the PS 8 corran get to shoot before he is removed, or is it determined by PS and he is dead, or is it determined by initiative and whoever has initiative shoots first?

EDIT: Nevermind, it's in the FAQ.

Glad we could help. :)

To clarify for anyone who comes across this as a quick reference, shooting order is determined by initiative, ignoring PS, and both get to shoot, regardless of destruction. Unless of course the one that shoots first deals the luckiest Blinded Pilot ever to the other...

To clarify a little bit more, this (ignoring PS) only applies to the shot Corran gets at the start of the end phase. When I first read your comment, my first thought was "Initiative doesn't cause you to ignore PS" But then when I read the FAQ to try and understand it, it all it made perfect sense for his ability and the attacks happening during the end phase. When I read the OP I wasn't thinking of how the "double tap" happened correctly and wondered why he had to go to the FAQ for the answer. Man I have a lot to learn about this game... :(
