This is already looking to be really fun to play in. All the teams have something to work with, or will find a way to make things work.

I think the best part will be: No one will play against the same pilot twice! That's gonna be neat!

Also, the team based results mean you really gotta make sure every player is in a position to win at least some matches, and even at 0-2, that 3rd round against another 0-2 could make or break the team's score.

My recommendation to spectators: Don't just follow the team members in the "top tables". The "lower tables" that got early losses with matchups against "better" lists (due to draft) will be just as deterministic of a team's final standings!

Agreed, I'm excited to see how lists 4/5/6 perform far more than I am to watch 1/2/3. The top lists are supposed to win, but the opportunity for lower tier ships/lists to over-perform expectations is what makes this format interesting. A "deep bench" is really important for each team here.

There are 208 pilots (including PS9 Poe and Rey) and there will be 192 picks. Which pilots are so bad that they won't get picked? Has Major Rhymer's time to shine finally arrived? Will the generic E-wing finally see play?

Even with 192 ships being drafted. Only 110-120 will actually get played. So I doubt the generic e-wings see play.
