But one wants to make it cool looking so one likes to put it on the table regardless of it being a flying brick.

What color is it? Does it have hair around its exhausts area?

They wax it completely smooth by greeblehauling people over the surface on a regular basis. There is no hair anywhere on the FSD. It's bronze and completely bald, like Maarek Steele, which should be a hint that FFG has decided their new artistic direction will be all flesh, all the time for the Imperials.
Yup, as TheCallum pointed out the aft taint is essential. Don't forget to model plenty of fools being greeblehauled along the way.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but was there not a flesh star destroyer conversion really early (like, maybe Wave 1 times)? Or did I dream that? If you can dig that up it might give some inspiration.

I have the VSD from the core expansion. Do you think that Admiral Jerjerrod and the Interdictor might make a multi-VSD fleet fiable?

Oh yeah. VSD 2s with the ability to swing their nose to keep ships in the front arc will be very powerful.
I'll be eager for the AARs of such fleets. The more space triangles I can field effectively the happier I will be 
An FSD would have plenty of bath tubs for maximum meditative and hygienic practices. Bath water salts, and plenty of Dark Temptation scented AXE.

One legal difference is a VSD is allowed to fly within 1000 feet of a school.

Not sure how to represent the fools getting greeblehauled yet.
It'll most likely turn out rather lovecraftian and hopefully won't look like a triangular dong.
