The Pelta is pretty large actually, more like the MC30 or Gladiator in size. The Arquitens is barely larger than a Raider.

Yes, no, maybe, can you repeat the question?

Yes: My FLGS allows me to lay-buy my ships, and had I not bought Scythe and some other games and comics (The Incal and Metabarons) online and spent my "allowance" already I would be paying down on Wave 5 this week. So for me the gap between 4 and 5 is quite close.

No: If Pedro doesn't get lost then these things will be out with almost precision timing to see in a new movie and Christmas. It will provide a good amount of ships to encourage new players that may have been holding back until there were more. And, for me if nothing else matters, I just plain and simple enjoy playing this game so new stuff is never bad, 12 new objectives and 16 new Squadron Cards, then 2 new ships and 8 new Squadrons and 8 unique versions of those!

Maybe: Let's just see what develops here, wave 1&2 were affected by all sorts of unexpected problems, wave 3 was split from wave 4 and then shipping was delayed and the two waves rejoined. As such it is very hard to gauge how often waves will be spread because we haven't really had a good stable development, production and delivery cycle yet.

Maybe people will stop complaining about the lack of stuff for the game? My complaint is that my wallet is hurting from all this goodness.

I'm excited...but at the same time I just dropped 370 bucks on 2 of everything of wave 3,4. And I want 3 Arquitens, and 2 of everthing else, except for the campaign...unless for some reason there needs to be a 2nd one bought lol.

It's entirely possible that the SKU was the beginnings of idea that's since been abandoned, but it doesn't make sense. The SKU is after wave 5, but before the Campaign. If it was an extra item for the campaign, it should have been numbered after. It's not a play mat, because there is no good financial reason to not use the existing X-wing mats and the SKU is specifically for the Armada product line. We have new squadrons, we have new ships. This is something they started working on after both, and that screams "new item outside of the normal order of releases."

The only gap is Force Friday, and after last year I suspect that each game system will be getting an FF product launch for as long as Disney continues to release Star Wars films. It just makes sense both for FFG and for Disney.
