Imperial officer

By fabiofotomoto, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hello

Being a non english motherlanguage, sometime s i need son clarification:

The imperial officer card say: During a campaign, that figure may interrupt to perform a move.

-this is referred to every figure? Used or not?

- means a figure must moved can moved

-" May interrupt" watt mean exacty?

Thanks Fabio

During campaign it reduces to this:

Order (special action): Choose another friendly figure within 2 spaces. That figure may interrupt to perform a move.

Explanation: The officer spends an action, chooses a friendly figure within 2 spaces (see Counting Spaces) other than himself, and the selected figure immediately performs a move. Performing a move means the figure gains movement points according to the figure's speed. Because the movement points are received out of that figure's activation (it is still the Officer's activation), they must be spent immediately or they are lost.

During skirmish the selected figure gains 2 movement points, but otherwise the effect is the same.

( may interrupt is really superfluous there, performing a move outside of the figure's activation already tells the gained movement points must be spent immediately)

Thanks a lot!!!!!

And to add a further clarification, all the points don't have to be spent.

The officer orders someone, who interrupts to take the movement action.

The gained movement points must be spent immediately, but the figure can still spend all, some or none of them.
