Yeah that one's awesome.
ive wanted to get a lego starwars ship but unfortunately all the "toy" variants look weird, i dont have a collection to build my own, and the "collector" stuff is out of production/STUPID expensive on ebay.
helped a friend put together the Super Star Destroyer once. That took the 2 of us about a week lol
I own a Lego defender I don't regret buying it.
The newer Lego ships have all been really good. I have pretty much all of them from the last 4 years or so, lol.

A lot of people do, just not everyone. (and, as it had "Lego" in the title, it should have been obvious to anyone not interested that it was ok if they didn't read it)
I bought a ton of Lego a few years back (Star Wars and when the first Avengers movie came out) and after putting together the Millennium Falcon one weekend, I realized that I was actually missing out on the most fun part about it, so put it all in a box in the basement marked "Christmas 2020" for when my kids will be old enough to help me

The US TIE Fighter is awesome too. Best part is that it's tough , so you can easily pick it up by a wing and just swoosh it around like you're a five year old without worrying about it falling apart.

I have two tubs full of Star Wars Legos. In bags with directions. Anyone with kids should do this.

Back in the day, I built my own X-wing, Y-wing, B-wing, Tie fighter, and tie crawler. That was way before they made official star wars sets!
