you don't need the RS and Calculation but it can let you deal a crit with HLC.

I imagine fortifying Kanan + Biggs with Palob would piss more than a few people off

The idea is that Talonbane rolls 5 dice at rang 1 normally, six with expose, and seven with Jan Ors assistance. Plus, experimental interface gives him either a focus or target lock with which to truly power up the attack to 5.25 expected damage - an enormous amount! Biggs is there to protect as usual, but the R7 astromech gives him a good chance against Fel and JM5Ks by rerolling before they can modify their focus results. Jan's intelligence agent and PS 10 combo wrecks any opposing phantoms, and that's about it. 97 points gives you a solid initiative bid over any opponents trying to field PS 9-10 aces.

If you can keep Biggs reliably at range 1 of 3 phantoms you're a better pilot than me my friend.

I won 1st! I took the Tie swarm with Biggs I posted earlier. I won every match pretty easily. Had one difficult one with Carnor providing difficulties but from 3rd round of combat on I had the victory in the bag I just couldn't screw it up by accident.
