Peril on Naboo [OOC]

By Blackbird888, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

Just an FYI, I'm thinking about another PbP, so I'll probably post it within a day or so, in the Age of Rebellion forum. It'll be a bit different, and I'm experimenting with a kind of story hook, but keep an eye out if you're interested.

As far as the Crescent and passenger capacity goes, most ships its size have a comfortable capacity of about 4-10, but two or three times that may be packed on. I would take Massan's advice, though.

Well, yes, of course it makes more sense to worry about that later if even at all. But characterization is important.

I might certainly be interested if you do create another one.

Wow, your other game filled up fast! I would have been very interested to play, since I love the rebellious Imperial theme, but alas I was far, far too late to apply

If nobody objects, I'll move us along to the next bit.

No objections.

Then I'll probably have it up a little later, around evening for me.

No objections here. In a lot of this sort of scenario Dubi isn't particularly active (planning not his forté!) so I'm not posting much but as a player happy enough with the decisions made. :)

Well, even if characters don't have too much to say, it is still entertaining to post something. What are they thinking? Even if they never speak, the post still moves the game forward, telling us what the characters are like.

Just food for thought. Not every post needs to be confined to just focusing on the task at hand!

You ever do one of those things that seems like a good idea in your head, but kind of doesn't work out exceptionally well in practice? I thought I could squeeze more out of this last portion, but I'm kind of missing here. That's what I get for posting when I'm tired.

If anybody has any ideas on how they want to handle as characters, I might have an idea on where to take it.

Yeah, I thought college was going to be a great idea. Second major? SURE! Two degrees, five years, and lots of loans later and here I am.

Making our way to the spaceport still seems like the most sensible way forward to me. And if we found an abandoned speeder on the way, so much the better.

Unless you're specifically asking how to get us more involved with this family. In which case I guess, once they get rid of their things, there could be enough space for us to go with them on the speeder

Not sure I get what you are saying here? If the others are not interested in interacting with the family that sounds like the end of that encounter and a good time to move on. I suppose our plan has not changed. But then again, the others could decide they really want that speeder and we'll have to have a huge row IC :D

Yeah, I'm talking particularly about the family.

Well, we've interacted with them, I assume they might have something to say in reply, but if you're not feeling it, man, I get that. I've no qualms with changing the scenery if that's what you'd prefer.

I'm good with moving on too. Drask wouldn't have much to add to this encounter since his big idea was to take their speeder.

Sorry about the sluggish response. Thanks for the input on the main thread.

Kanti takes 2 strain.

The range between you and the Krath skirmishers is medium. You're in the street, but because of Theed's diverse architecture there is plenty of places to take cover.

Of course, it's entirely acceptable to attempt to run away instead of fighting.

I'm not hinting or implying anything either way, I promise. (I really am serious.)

Quite alright. Everything okay?

Initiative:

: 2eA 1 success, 2 advantage

Yeah, just been a bit distracted.

Drask is ready

Init : 2eA+1eP 2 successes, 1 advantage

Initiative. Well, Massan is frightened and weak-willed so this might be the first initiative check I see that goes into the negative...

Well, 0 successes, 0 advantages is not negative ...
Could we have a rough estimate about the number of troops and weapons they carry, or would that require an action to observe?

Kallukorus' Initiative with 1 setback for fear

Initiative : 1eP+3eA+1eS 3 successes, 1 advantage
Initiative check : 1eA 0 successes, 1 advantage

Not a fantastic roll...
