3 Scum Ships I'd Like to See Added to X-wing

The scum faction seems to be getting more large ships than the other factions, and it makes sense, so lets hope for a few more. Here are a few I'd like to see and what they could bring to the game.

Luxury Yacht 3000 aka Lady Luck

- Scum Lando pilot and crew

- Scum Mara Jade pilot (provided they can use her)

- Azmorigan (Rebels character)

- Cad Bane crew

YT-2000

- Ace Azzameen (This way we could have all three of the X-wing series protagonists in the game, and 1 per faction. Plus you could fly him with Emon this way which you couldn't if he were made a Rebel pilot)

- Other pilots could be Aeron Azzameen and MK-09

- It could be a 2 dice primary turret with a Otana title that could have it so that you could add your primary attack dice to an attack you make with cannon upgrade. That way it represents the linked fire you could do in the game and would make it so you'd want to use its primary arc instead of just using the turret.

Gauntlet/Kom'rk

- Maul pilot, Pre Vizsla pilot, and Bo-katan pilot

- Plus it'd give us the Protectorate fighter's big brother ship.

And while not a new ship it would be nice to see a Firespray update, hopefully packaged with a scum ship in need of fixing in packaging similar to how they are doing Heroes of the Resistance.

Firespray-31/Slave 1

- Jango Fett (Jango could have some ability to make use of bombs, maybe something that had it where when a bomb detonated it removed any obsticles at range 1 of the bomb and then dealt 1 damage to every ship at range 1 of every obstacle removed by this ability. The idea being that it somewhat replicates the scene where he attacked Obi-Wan above Geonosis.)

- Hondo Ohnaka pilot and crew

- Aurra Sing pilot and crew

Just gimme the Wild Karrde as one of the scum epics and all will be right in the galaxy.

And no Hondo pilot and fortune and glory title for the Yacht? That would just be cruel.

That'd be because the protectorate fighter was based on the gauntlet. And as I said the it would be the Protectorate's big brother.

I think that Scum need at least one Huge ship (and the Wild Carrde seems like the most obvious choice). But since I don't play epic yet, I will 2nd the vote for Scum Lando and Lady Luck. Of course I also like the idea of super cheap Uglies so take it as you will.

#1 could quite easily be a Scum & Villany ship for Epic play.

#2 I fully endorse. The rest of the Azzameen family needs to say a long overdue hello.

There's a fair few other Scum ships that I'd like to see - Cloakshape, Preybird, Vaksai, Dunelizard - but none that really stands out as an immediate "must include".

Lady luck is in a weird spot. Its too small to suit epic well, but its longer than the ghost, making it really big for a large base ship. I did make a custom version of it as a large base that made it into the custom card league

1. I suppose the Luxury 3000 is right on the edge of Epic. About 10 meters longer than the Ghost, 10 meters shorter than the Gozanti. I never really thought of it as a Huge ship, but I guess it would have to be.

I totally second the YT-2000. It would be a great 4 Attack Die (fixed arc?) ship. Maybe it could have a 4 die forward arc and a 2 die PWT the the Jumpy. If it had the shields and the maneuverability that the wiki says it has, I'd be cool with it having a fixed Primary Arc.

This would scratch the itch I feel for the Scum not having the YT-1300 and 2400.

Agree with the above points, but would also say that Mels version looks really small against the Gozanti and GR-75 - can't help but feel it would be a 'disapointment' as Scums first Epic in comparison [thinking of previous comments about the Aggressor looking small on the large base] - also, although longer than the Ghost, it doesn't overhang the base by a stupid amount, is slim, and at least wouldn't need the Ghosts silly stand !

I love the ship [am looking forward to using VanderLegions cards for it, once I can get it painted], but I'd really hope for something more 'EPIC' for Scums first foray ;)

Agreed. I want wild karrde and star jewel for scum epics (wild karrde first cause i want talon karrde and scum mara). Id love thrm to fit the luxury yacht as a large base

YT-2000 is too similar to the 1300 IMHO - also you can mod it like many others have done from the falcon model. Different crew options for the falcon for scum could be cool i.e. another most wanted type expansion.

Would probably have to be an epic ship. The ghost is 44m long and 34 wide and barely fit as a large ship, to the point they had to make a new base for it.

The gozanti is 64m long and about 34m wide.

According to wookiepedia, the kom'rk is 52m wide and 52-68m long depending on the model. That puts it in epic range

Indeed. That's like saying the Z95 was "too similar" to the X-Wing.

And also, any "too similar" aesthetic complaints went right out of the window with the TIE/ln, TIE/fo, TIE/sf and TIE/sabine.
