Without knowing the dial (but assuming it is like the lambda but with white hard turns at least) but noting it has two unique things going for it, it has an EPT, and it has two tech slots been messing around with a "Fat Ren" build

Kylo(pilot) + PTL + Adv. Sensors + Recon Specialist + rebel captive + sensor cluster + weapons guidance + engine upgrade + title = 56 pts

pretty expensive for a ps 6 ship but can do the following.

With advance sensors it can take its action (focus) then PTL for Coordinate or boost, reveal a green, remove stress from PTL and will "always" use both its focus for attack and "always" have 1 evade. When shot at for the first time it gives out a stress and can use its title (if in range 1-2) and then SYTDS on that ship.

With coordinate I was also thinking Omega ace could be useful with com relay/juke and able to get both TL and focus in a single turn as well as juke which then could trigger SYTDS with one of the crits (or any other ship that can make crits)

Could also ditch title and rebel captive and could take omega leader with com/juke + another 25 pt ship

Another thought I have had recently was to switch out rebel captive for a 2nd recon specialist to get 3 focus per focus action, now you can modify your attack twice (one from focus roll one from weapon guidance) and still have a pocket evade. Of course this is just with info that we have right now and not including any other new tech upgrades.

I thought about making a build similar but also using his new persistent ability and pairing him with Vader's Tie Advance

My current thought is that RAC/Kylo will be an absolutely VICIOUS list.

RAC/Pred/Rebel Captive/Engine

Kylo/A Score To Settle/Palp/Sensor Cluster

Whole lots of nice crits to trigger ISYTDS, a shedload of HP (I mean, triple scouts only take out 24HP with their torps at best, 25 if they hit Kylo with a Plasma and this has 28, assuming it doesn't kill a scout before it can fire which given that ISYTDS can give Blinded Pilots out is likely) made better by Kylo's focus token guaranteeing to be effective defensively. Rebel Captive to encourage people to shoot Kylo and trigger ISYTDS.

Kylo Ren - Adaptability (Reduce), Sensor Jammer, Emperor Palpatine, Engine Upgrade - 50 Pts

Lower your pilot skill to 5 with Adaptability, Engine Upgrade into range one, force them to spend their focus when they attack you so they don't have it for defense. Deal them out Kylo Ren's condition card and then return fire with 5 dice. Emperor Palpatine will give you the critical hit.

What does a score to settle do

During setup, before the "Place Forces" step, choose 1 enemy ship and deal the "A Debt to Pay" Condition card to it.

When attacking a ship that has the "A Debt to Pay" Condition card, you may change 1 [eye] result to a [kaboom] result.

We don't yet know what the condition does but based on the 0 cost I assume that it will be the inverse - when they attack you, they change an eye to a kaboom. Which is fine, because they really won't want to attack you. Or RAC.
