Ok, I ran a session today, and the result of which is basically that one of my PC's, Thad Bane (you've probably heard of his infamous uncle Cad Bane), has become a household name across the galaxy. People are asking (hotly debated topic) if he is the fastest blaster slinger to ever draw breath (got 2 triumph and 3 successes on a cool check to quick draw against an NPC gunslinger spec who got 1 triumph and 5 successes). You can read more about it here . I thought it was an awesome session. It ended with another PC being elected the CEO of Czerka arms (the player just got married/is just about to get married and for that reason is leaving the campaign at least for a while and it was a good way, which fit into his obligation, to write him out for a while but leaving the option for him to come back later)

BTW that combat encounter lasted 2 rounds and Thad's player rolled 4 triumphs during it. 2 on the quick draw, 1 on the immediately following attack that destroyed the Myria Vondin's (female Mandalorian gunslinger) jet pack and 1 on the his next round's attack where he destroyed her brother's Mar Vondin's jet pack... that was some absolutely amazing rolling (and I was sitting next to the player watching him roll my dice so I know he didn't fudge or otherwise cheat on the rolls) on his initiative check he was rolling 3 yellow and a green, on the attack rolls he was rolling 6/5 yellow, 1 green, 3 blue (normally would have been 4 yellow, 1 green, 2 blue, but he used 2 ranks of true aim and he used his 2 triumphs on the initiative check to upgrade twice for the attack roll), with a free advantage from superior. After Myria rolled the 1 triumph and 5 success on her cool check there was a tense moment because it seemed like she was going to win initiative especially since she had 3 ranks of rapid reaction and would have probably taken Thad out of the fight had she won initiative.... I gave her some crazy blaster template pistol(s) with the intent of Thad getting at least one of them after he killed her/knocked one out of her hand in the fight and possibly having a new recurring nemesis in the form of her brother Mar Vondin who wanted to avenge her death or her who wanted her other pistol back. But he laid the smack down on both of them with fabulous rolling. Of course Mar Vondin had already take 10 wounds by the time Thad shot his jet pack.
